Welcome to Business Innovators Magazine…Please introduce yourself and a brief thumbnail of your background:
TD: My name is Tim Darnell. I’m 63 years old and married for 32 years to my beautiful and wonderful wife, Cathy. We are the proud parents of two daughters, Lindy (27) and Hannah (25) and one son, Caleb (18). All three children love Jesus and are happy and well-adjusted young adults. Additionally, all three are entrepreneurial like their Dad.
I have been an entrepreneur all my life. I am psychologically unemployable – truly – and have always been intrigued by and excited about building and growing businesses. I’ve had my share of successes and failures and have learned invaluable lessons from both.
BI: What would you say is the area of business that you are most passionate about and why?
TD: I’m most passionate about seeing others who put their trust in me succeed. There’s no better feeling than seeing someone I’ve personally mentored take life by the horns and rise up to greater heights than they initially thought possible!
BI: How are you different than your competitors?
TD: Results
BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?
TD: As a musician, singer, songwriter, recording artist and entertainer, I’ve been fortunate to sell over a million albums and perform in arenas and coliseums across North America. As a Professional Network Marketer, I’ve been also quite fortunate and currently have a team of 23,100 Customers and Associates located in multiple countries across the globe.
BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?
TD: I love the intangibles, qualities such as tenacity and resolve. I love to see Leaders will their way to the win and keep going!
BI: What has been a key element of your success?
TD: I innately, deeply care about people.
BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?
TD: I am putting the finishing touches on my newest album. It will be the 27th of my career and the first offering from the new group I founded called, Hatz. We are looking at a release date of March 1, 2018.
BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?
TD: “Burning Desire” is essential for success. That intrinsic motivation sets the stage for aligning with the right Mentor who will help you see the road more clearly while avoiding the speed bumps and oncoming freight trains. Get a Mentor – someone who has achieved similar results like you are looking to achieve!
“BELIEF”: Believe in God’s power in your life. Believe also in yourself. When the odds are stacked against you, you can get up, brush off the ashes and move forward to fight another day. You’ll be more proud of yourself when you’ve overcome seemingly devastating odds!
BI: What is it that sets you and other top success stories apart from the maddening crowds?
TD: I asked that very question of the first Billionaire I ever met, having had the good fortune of being chosen to drive him to the airport. I was a bit tentative to ask him but did so anyway. He didn’t hesitate and answered with two words, “self-image.” I’ve never forgotten that answer, and have often ruminated on that concept throughout my career and adult life.
I have always believed we are made in the image of God; and so, we, therefore, have any and everything we need to accomplish great things and make an impact on our family, our community, and even the world. I believe that I’m special and that you’re equally as special with all my heart and soul. It’s not just true for me, but for everybody. We not only can succeed, we must succeed. Along with respecting and treating others as best we can, personal success is our sacred and moral duty.
BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?
TD: I know that a brilliant Champion has just come on board, or is about to join our Marketing Team. He or she will be a sensational standout performer, destined to be a powerful Leader in our growing enterprise! I can feel this happening in my bones!
