Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share, America’s most trusted healthcare sharing ministry, has more than 700 employees with offices in Melbourne, Florida and Colorado Springs, Colorado and working remotely. This year’s employee celebrations were focused on giving back. The Ministry provided prizes for employees that were raffled off, with all proceeds to be donated to The Global Orphan Project, one of Medi-Share’s Outreach partners. Medi-Share employees raised $6,960 for The Global Orphan Project through this raffle. The Global Orphan Project exists to break the orphan cycle through the power of community, commerce and the love of Jesus. Setting traditional institutional orphan care models aside, they connect a global family united by a shared vision to care for children and vulnerable families.
In addition to the raffle, instead of decorating departments as had been the tradition, this year employees decorated Christmas trees to donate to families in need through New Life Mission and Crossfire Ministries. New Life Mission in Brevard County, FL equips homeless moms through education, accountability, and goal advancement, empowering them to become self-sufficient and break the cycle of homelessness. Crossfire Ministries is a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization in Colorado Springs that seeks to put God’s love into action, by furnishing the necessities of daily living to those in need.
