Cyndee Goldstein, The Worth Warrior (TWW), Helps Women and Girls Find Self-worth

What’s a misconception that people have about self-worth?

One, that, having self-worth and confidence is arrogance. I don’t think that’s true. There’s nothing wrong with being confident with who you are and feeling good about yourself. I think that’s where self-worth comes in, when you’re feeling good about yourself and you know you deserve good things, nothing people are saying is going to bother you. You know that other people’s opinions aren’t the truth. It’s not your truth. So, you get to pick, you get to decide how you react to those things.

You also get to learn perfectionism is a conspiracy theory. It’s not real. Being perfect isn’t real. Nobody’s perfect. Even though they might look that way on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, those people’s lives aren’t perfect. Nobody’s life is perfect. You understand the realities of situations, like right sizing problems and making sure you know that it’s not the end of the world when things happen, good or bad.

As The Worth Warrior (TWW), what services do you offer, Cyndee?

First, I offer speaking engagements for women’s groups and for girls, where I discuss self-worth and how my journey unfolded and how exactly, I was able to recover and go from feeling utterly worthless with a life that had come unraveled due to a bad relationship ending to becoming a confident, happy woman with a good sense of self-worth, self-acceptance and greater faith in my ability to help other women and girls overcome their loss of their sense of self.

The Worth Warrior (TWW) also offers a 21-day course called, “Breaking up with Self-Doubt: It’s a 21-day “Journey to Worthy.” The 21 days focus on things you can do to gain self-worth. Each day there are different activities and things for you to do and you also begin keeping a journal. I also offer a yearlong journal, a year of self-love; it’s all designed to help you in loving yourself for a whole year.

We’re creating a line of t-shirts, and merchandise with inspirational sayings, little mottoes that I live by and t-shirts with designs created to empower mixed race women and girls.

How did The Worth Warrior (TWW) and the “Breaking up with Self-Doubt” course get started?

The Worth Warrior (TWW) course stemmed from a question to myself, “What would it look like for me if I thought about myself the way other people thought about me?” At the time, that question stopped me in my tracks. I thought about that question and that night I went home and I started on my self-worth journey and I haven’t looked back. I’m whole again and I have self-worth. Now, I want to give that feeling to other women and girls who are struggling. I want them to know that they are not alone and that there is hope that things will get better and that their life can be amazing and everything they are too afraid to dream of right now.
