Geoff Ables, C5 Insight Managing Partner, Is Presenting at Digital Workplace Experience 2019 in Chicago
Geoff Ables will be leading a workshop and presenting another session at Digital Workplace Experience 2019. The conference is scheduled for June 17-19, 2019 at The Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago. The event, produced by SMG/CMSWire, focuses on the strategies, tools and technologies to improve the people, processes and platforms of digital workplaces. For conference information and registration, visit https://www.dwexperience.com.

Ables will be leading the workshop, “Digital Workplace Journey Mapping,” on Monday, June 17. He will demonstrate how to create a better workplace experience, which drives engagement, productivity and continuous improvement through an understanding of leaders, users and other stakeholders in the organization. One of the top reasons employees do not engage is a disconnection between their digital workplace experience and overall productivity. Technology solutions can become so complex and difficult to use that employees feel they are working for the technology – rather than the other way around. This interactive workshop identifies persona definitions, the foundation for journey maps and how to parse survey data.

Ables will also be presenting the session, “Creating a People-Centric Digital Workplace,” on Tuesday, June 18. In this session, he will explain why more than technology alone is needed for digital transformation. Attendees will learn what differentiates companies that succeed with transforming customer and employee engagement from those who never break free of the struggle. The innovation engine behind next generation customer experiences is engaged employees. Being people-centric isn’t a new concept, but digital workplace tools that can make it a reality have advanced significantly in recent years. Ables will describe what a people-centric organization looks like with case studies highlighting how big data, analytics, employee engagement, processes, change management, user adoption and culture need to align. He will also outline proven organizational disciplines that result in better customer and employee engagement.

Ables is the author of “The LUCK Principle: Business Results at the Intersection of People & Profit.” In the book he offers fresh insight and inspiration on how to harness the power of people, process and technology to transform a business into a digital workplace that balances a people-first culture with bottom-line results. The book is available in both paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon at https://www.Amazon.com/dp/B01N0QW5H4.
