Strategic collaboration brings together professional standards, education, certification, member benefits, and national association support for DJs and mobile event professionals.
CHICAGO, IL / SCOTTSDALE, AZ — The National Association of Mobile Event Professionals, known as NAMEpros, and The DJ Entertainers Association, known as DJEA, have announced a strategic partnership designed to strengthen, support, and elevate the mobile DJ entertainment profession.
The collaboration unites two organizations with complementary missions. NAMEpros offers DJs and mobile event professionals a community, business resources, liability insurance options, member benefits, and support from a national association. DJEA provides a professional development platform focused on education, industry standards, sales training, client experience, and an Entertainment Service Excellence (ESE) Certification pathway.
Together, the organizations are creating a stronger value proposition for DJs and all event professionals who want to grow their businesses, improve their professionalism, increase their credibility, and stand out in a competitive marketplace.
“For too long, the mobile DJ industry has lacked a clear, unified standard for what true professionalism looks like,” said Mark Imperial, Founder of the DJ Entertainers Association and Curator of ESE Certification. “There are thousands of talented, committed DJs doing excellent work, but the profession itself needs stronger standards, better education, and clearer ways for serious entertainers to differentiate themselves. This partnership with NAMEpros is an important step toward raising the bar for the entire industry.”
Through the partnership, active NAMEpros members will receive exclusive DJEA benefits via a private offer. Mark Imperial encourages all NAMEpros members to get all the details and download a FREE copy of his new book, The One-Call Close for DJs and Event Pros, at: https://www.djentertainersassociation.org/name-members. DJEA members and followers will be introduced to the advantages of NAMEpros membership, including business resources, community, insurance options, and national association support.
The organizations will jointly offer targeted education, timely updates, and interactive online workshops to help DJs boost business, refine client service, and increase visibility in their markets.
Andrew Starr, President of NAMEpros, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration and its potential impact on the DJ community.
“This is a powerful opportunity to bring more value to DJs and mobile event professionals,” said Starr. “NAMEpros has always focused on helping our members protect and grow their businesses. By partnering with DJEA, we can offer our members access to additional education, professional development, and standards-based resources that can help them become stronger business owners and more respected entertainers.”
The partnership reflects a shared belief that the future of the DJ profession depends on more than equipment, playlists, and performance talent alone. Today’s clients are looking for professionals who can guide an event, communicate clearly, deliver a polished experience, and operate with confidence and standards.
“We’re not replacing what either organization already does well,” Imperial added. “We’re joining forces. Together, we can help event professionals and DJs become more respected, more trusted, and more valuable in the eyes of clients, venues, planners, and the public.”
The announcement comes at a time when many DJs and event professionals are seeking better ways to compete without lowering their prices, to explain their value to clients, and to separate themselves from hobbyists, low-cost providers, and commodity entertainment options.
More information about member benefits, offers, and events will be shared soon by DJEA and NAMEpros.
