The Grand Opening of the facility will be held on Thursday, August 22, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm with the ribbon cutting at 3:00 pm. The Ribbon Cutting/Opening Ceremony will take place with the mayor of Cottonwood Heights, Michael J. Peterson, present to grace the occasion.

The owner, having lost her mother to cancer in 2010, vowed to uplift cancer patients. She will be giving back to the community in the form of an entire FREE DAY of massages for cancer patients (must have clearance from dr/sign waiver) and then a weekly winner chosen thereafter for a free massage – accepting both cancer patients and others in need. Also, Spaphoria will be partnering with animal rights organizations and donating $1 from each “Vegan Massage” to them.
