Colorado Springs employer brings flex workforce together for Chapel at the Castle event

Christian Care Ministry/ Medi-Share, America’s America’s leading health care sharing ministry, has been operating with a flex workforce over the past two years because of the pandemic. Now a “hybrid” work force with a mix of onsite, remote, and flexible employees who work part time, at home and in office. Christian Care Ministry is providing new and fresh ways to unite and engage the employee population.

On June 1st, Christian Care Ministry brought the weekly chapel service, normally held onsite and virtually, to the historic Glen Eyrie Castle in Colorado Springs for a one-of-a-kind refreshing experience. The Colorado office was closed for the afternoon so all local employees could participate. Lunch was provided, followed by worship led by VOTA, and a message from Pastor Marquise Cox from Community Bible Church in San Antonio, TX.

“What an incredible experience to share a Chapel service with our employees at a unique venue like the Glen Eyrie Castle. We were thrilled to be able to provide this opportunity for all of our local employees to take time out of their busy schedules to come together and unite in a beautiful location. As we come out of the pandemic of the last two years, it is events like these that can remind us how energizing it is do life together in person..” Scott Reddig, CEO Christian Care Ministry

Christian Care Ministry is committed to its culture and although employees have been very adaptable during this time, it is l important to create opportunities to come together in person often. This Chapel at the Castle event was an innovative way for Christian Care Ministry to engage its hybrid employee culture.

“I loved spending time with my coworkers, many of whom I haven’t seen in a long time, at the beautiful Glen Eyrie Castle. I am so thankful that my employer has made personally connecting with staff a priority and am looking forward to more in person events.” Erin Englert, Communications Specialist at Christian Care Ministry.
