Dr Vidhya creates immense success through power of mindset

This is what I tell my inner child, and I have in the past written it in a letter to myself as part of a healing ritual.

What is YOUR way of doing business?

Ultimately for me, I know I’m running my business in the right way, because when I work I use my mental faculty of intuition to ensure I am serving all and addressing each pillar of my clients’ lives (health, wealth, life purpose, self-mastery, spirituality, and relationships) in a holistic way. This enables me to do the same in my life, which means both myself and my clients reap all of the peaceful, passionate, purposeful and philanthropic profits together.

When in doubt, I always go deep within, use my intuition and ask: what is the right thing to do? What is in line with my soul mission? What is for the highest good of all? And is this the best way right now? So really, my business is just about me being my authentic, badass self and serving in the way I was always meant to, through healing, leading and teaching using a range of methods.

Who do you admire?

So many people, but the people whose work and ethics I most deeply admire are Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé Knowles, Mahatma Gandhi, Bob Proctor, Sandy Gallagher, Peggy McColl, Jennifer Lopez, and Malala Yousafzai.

Ultimately, they have all used potentially painful parts of their lives to heal, and shown the world the amazing power of humanpotential. Some of them have used their platform of work as their soul mission, to serve global humanity in their own way and start a movement through their paradigm of service – with love! – to shift deep cultural issues that were no longer serving us. They have all held onto their values unapologetically, and they have done so peacefully and with immense courage, before going on to teach others how to do the same through philanthropy.

What advice would you give to someone who is new to business?

Be your authentic self, and don’t do something just because it’s the latest marketing trend and everyone is doing it. But do learn those skills and trends so that you can attain business mastery, and then always use your intuition to decide if it is right for you.

You should surround yourself with likeminded people who will become a part of your family. However, just like with pregnancy, everyone and their dog will likely have an opinion on your business, even if you don’t ask. It comes from a place of love, but ultimately you must look within and follow your own intuition – that is your compass.

This takes practice, so start now. Don’t spend ages stuck at any one stage – you have to make a decision and get your service out there. Trust your instincts, and then just do it. Take a leap of faith! Just jump, and build the plane as you fly up. It’s meant to feel weird and you are going to be anxious at first, because you will be out of your comfort zone. That’s a good thing, though; that’s where the magic lies. Just remember that on the other side of fear is freedom.
