BI: What would you say is the area in business that you are most passionate about and why?
JCB: I am most passionate about teaching concepts that allow people to reach their goals. Success comes in many forms. Some view success as monetary, position, expansion or even time freedom. My primary mission is to help all people reach that level of success.
BI: How are you different than your competitors?
JCB: The never ending passion for learning and innovation separates me from the competitors. My unique selling proposition is that I work to ensure that I know more than anyone else. This is for the purpose of educated those who come to me for answers. These answers are used solely to increase the productivity of others.
BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?
JCB: I am most proud of my progress completing my Doctorate in Business, my membership in Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society…the highest recognition society globally and growing Jake Sweeney Auto into one of the largest volume dealers in the Mid-West.
BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?
JCB: I admire leaders that will work alongside their base and go through the challenges with them. These leaders can look into the eyes of their team members and share a bond that allows the team to know that the work is about unity and not propelling one person.
BI: What has been a key element of your success?
JCB: Serving others has been the biggest key element to my success. By taking an interest in others, it has allowed me to learn the issues that people face creating solutions for me. Servitude is the greatest way to duplicate your thoughts, ideas, and influence.
BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?
JCB: My apparel company FAST Performance is still growing at this time. I am currently working on getting the apparel into national retailers and eventually as the official team uniform for minor league and arena league teams.
BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?
JCB: For a prospective client, my recommendation is that you have a plan for the course of your life and do not be afraid to execute it. If that road closes, then re-evaluate the plan and work to execute that one with all of the desire as the first one. Make sure that you find people that you can help along the way and build up as you go.
BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?
JCB: I am most excited about the number of people that I have been able to hire and lives that I will be able to impact. Putting people in a position to reach their goals carries a residual effect to family members, neighbors and the overall network alike. Any time that we can impact someone’s life that proves to be exciting.
