BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?
KL: My Junior High School Counselor Rachel Leonard, no relation but my grades were much better when my teachers thought we were!, would always say to me “Mr. Leonard what can I do for you today?” Her inquiry has always resonated with me and something I have emulated ever since. By asking “What can I do for you today” I demonstrate to those reading this interview that I am standing tall, ready to listen and engage to help them succeed no matter how large or small that need may be.
The second thing is that you did not stumble across this interview by accident! God chooses my clients and partners not me! Maybe you are searching for ways to rise above the noise, achieve even greater personal or professional enrichment, experience prosperity far beyond what money alone can bring you, or maybe you just needed to read something in here to validate an assumption you have. Whatever the reason, there is but one certainty, it is by intelligent design that we crossed paths.
BI: What are one or two of your guiding principles that you would like to share with our readers?
KL: Two bubbles to the top really quickly.
- “Take care of the people and the money will take care of itself.” Rationale: The measure of my success is predicated on the success of my clients. It is a partnership where our combined fates are on the line. Either we succeed or fail together, and failure is not an option. Always remember that money is a byproduct of your passion and commitment to your clients success and not the purpose.
- “Don’t get caught in the reactive zone.” Rationale: It is extremely difficult the make good decisions when caught” back on your heels” a position of reactiveness or weakness. Always get to the clearest state of mind possible and make your decisions from the highest Emotional Intelligence Paradigm of INTEGRITY!
BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?
KL: Anytime we experience trying times and adversity like the first half of 2020, we can take comfort in knowing that God also creates an abundance of opportunities to counteract these injustices. The opportunity to use my God-given knowledge-skills-abilities to launch my clients on a trajectory that will propel them even farther forward than they ever imagined possible, excites me!
