  1. What prompted you to obtain your WBENC certification through WBEC-West?

PaigeWe sought certification so we could have the honor of being a part of this powerful group of women-owned businesses who are achieving impactful levels of success. Being drawn to the program due to the desire of developing new relationships with both internal connections and external opportunities, we were excited to hear of the potential accelerated growth through networking within a larger pool of power partners and corporations looking to work specifically with women-owned businesses.

  1. Since being certified, what benefits have you/ your business experienced?

Paige: By surrounding ourselves with other like-minded, minority-owned businesses, we bring continued visibility to the ingenuity, strength, and integrity of this community. Through the ambassador program, we have been able to connect with a mentor who has offered guidance through the many offerings that the WBENC certification offers. We have also been featured in press and media as a recently certified business on the rise which has brought in a variety of new leads.

  1. How do you useyour certification?  (i.e., through online marketing, social media, print media, website, business cards, in stores on my product, etc.)

Paige: We feature the certification on our website and market through online, social media, and print media sources. Tree Ring Digital also utilize the educational workshops by attending and leveraging the relationships in exciting and mutually beneficial ways.

  1. What advice would you share with a fellow Women Business owner who are looking to become WBENC certified?

Paige: The opportunities are endless with a WBENC certification and the process is fun and interesting. The relationships you’ll build are critical in taking your business to the next level and it’s been exciting to watch my business grow as a result of the certification.
