BI: What is different about running a business in The Twenty-First Century?
CS: Most management of people practices have been based on what we knew about psychology and social systems in the last century. We used the student of rats as our primary source of knowledge and applied that knowledge, inaccurately, to humans. We now know how humans work, and it is changing completely how we engage thinking and people to be successful. You can get up to date by reading my newsletters, reading my books and inviting me to speak at your events.
BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?
CS: I have two new books coming out this fall about management and growing people; these added to my two previous best-selling, multi-award winning books, The Responsible Business, and The Responsible Entrepreneur.
I produce an annual event, The Regenerative Business Summit, which is leading innovation and enlighten disruption in six value-adding streams (e.g., food, shelter). Check our website, http://www.TheRegenerativeBusinessSummit.com held in October each year in Seattle.
