Welcome to Business Innovators Magazine…Please introduce yourself and a brief thumbnail sketch of your background.
BF: Hi, My name is Dr. Bill Freeman, I am a Retired Air Force instructor, retiring from Los Alamos National Labs as a Training Manager and started TopCorp.org. I have over a 500-hour curriculum in basic, mid, senior level leadership, management, communication; to include TQM, customer service, and positive mental attitude. I hold a doctorate in Global Education & Training and have trained over 22,000 people.
BI: What would you say is the area in business that you are most passionate about and why?
BF: Developing others to reach their potential and help them stretch themselves to places they never thought they could go and accomplishing projects or missions others thought could not be done through the innovative use of true TEAMWORK.
BI: How are you different than your competitors?
BF: I give 110 percent and expect the same of others and give me the projects others say can’t be done and watch my team and I do them. We get the job done.
I also believe that if you believe in your people, then success will flow from there.
BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?
BF: I was tasked with leading the development and implementation of a Process Engineering training and development program, a new skill set for world-class engineers and scientists. Through personal enthusiasm and partnering with my highly competent and innovative best friend and business partner, we delivered the program ahead of schedule and under budget, that helped our professionals work safer and more effectively and efficiently.
BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?
BF: Trust. If your team members don’t trust you then, your team will fail. Leaders build trust by consistently saying what they are hung to do than doing it, always.
BI: What has been a key element of your success?
BF: Proactivity, infectious enthusiasm, and believing in others, coaching and mentoring where needed, and watching them excel!
BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?
BF: Leading the development of a radiography training program that has never been developed before. We are going where no one else has ever gone before, and I’m part of it.
BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?
