Welcome to Business Innovators Magazine…Please introduce yourself and a brief thumbnail of your background.
SS: I am Sarah Scheper. I am 28 years old and love real estate. I have been selling real estate for three years and am a top producer at HomeSmart Realty in Irvine, CA. I am passionate about becoming the premier “under age 30” Realtor in California. I recently moved to Beverly Hills and now offer home buyers and sellers homes in Orange County and Los Angeles County.
BI: What would you say is the area in business that you are most passionate about and why?
SS: I love working with buyers because I have a knack for finding them the right home, in the right place, at the right price, at the right time.
BI: How are you different than your competitors?
SS: I am an Instagram savant. I have almost 50,000 followers, my Instagram name is Sarah_Scheper, and my business comes mostly from this social media outlet. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Linkedin, Active Rain and Instagram is fun and allows me to meet tons of people.BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?
SS: I am a candidate for Realtor Magazine’s Top 30 under 30. I am the top agent at my firm for people under age 30.
BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?
SS: I love Dolly Lenz. She is a leader who loves her job, cherishes her clients. I love leaders who sacrifice for others, help others and are committed to greatness. I love leaders who are decisive, fair, strong, but compassionate, too.
BI: What has been a key element of your success?
SS: Determination, persistence and the ability to work harder than anybody out there.
BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?
SS: I was asked to form a Beverly Hills office (I’ll be the VP of Sales) for the top luxury division within HomeSmart, an Evergreen Company. My mentor and boss is Shevy Akason. He’s been the number one producer at my company for six straight years.
BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?
SS: I will work harder for you than anybody I know of — I will care, I will be responsive and always on my A game with focus and passion.
BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?
SS: I see the interest rates being steady, I see job growth rebounding, consumer confidence is strong, and the overall economy is solid. I think qualifying for home loans is getting more lenient and more sensible, so more of my buyers now qualify.
