Welcome to Business Innovators Magazine…Please introduce yourself and a brief thumbnail sketch of your background.
KDS: My name is Kirk Douglas Scott aka The I CAN Man. A successful entrepreneur, published author, professional speaker and life coach. I have spent the last 20 years encouraging and motivating individuals and groups to tap into and reach their full potential by helping them change their current mindset. My assignment is to help with positive change.
BI: What would you say is the area in business that you are most passionate about and why?
KDS: I think I am most passionate about customer service. I believe that we have lost the ability to serve our customers or clients in a way that we ourselves would like to be served. If the customer or client is happy, they share your products and services with others. And in that case, it will cause more sales and positive growth for your business ultimately increasing your bottom line.
BI: How are you different than your competitors?
KDS: I believe that my passion, dedication and hard work stands above my competitors. My willingness to serve first is a unique quality. It’s not always about the money; it’s more about the customer’s satisfaction. I believe as Jim Rohn once said, “if you help enough people get what they want, you will automatically get what you want.”
BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?
KDS: I have several business accomplishments, but one that stands out to me. I was going to go into business and do so by signing on to a franchise organization. My wife talked me out of it because she believed I could do it on my own. She was right, I set my mind and applied my work ethic and started that business from scratch and netted a quarter million dollars in my first year.
BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?
KDS: I admire a leader that leads by example. One that can get in the trenches with you and not just bark orders. I believe that when you have a leader with this quality or characteristic, you get more productive partners. It also commands a higher level of respect from each employee or partner.
BI: What has been a key element of your success? *
KDS: The key element to my success is my faith and trust in a higher power. Along with my ability to focus and have a no quit attitude.
My willingness to help others even when I need help myself I believe is paramount in the reason I am successful.
BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?
KDS: I am currently working on my third book. This project has me so pumped! It’s going to help many individuals and groups get clear on how to set and reach their highest level of growth, tap into their full potential for greater success. Also, I’m working on reinventing my growth seminar and workshop. This will promote positive change and help transform their mindset.
BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?

KDS: I’m so excited about our upcoming seminars that will help individuals and groups increase their confidence to take action on pursuing their dreams and passions.
My new book release, my upcoming webinars and keynote speeches will keep me pumped over these upcoming months. I’m so excited that after being the best-kept secret the world has not known to now being recognized as the great leader and speaker that I am.
