Carol: you are consistently growing per week, correct?

Steve: yes, we are growing. We started at probably 20 people and I think the most we’ve had now is 89. We’re really trying to get to that century mark and I’m sure we’ll be there soon. We get people there every single week. They look forward to it. I think it’s a great way for them to start the week.  I think people love to see other folks having success and I think it reinforces their confidence so they can have success. I think they also love that they have a place to get their questions answered.

Carol: Any particular question or topic that you’d care to share from one of the calls?

Steve: You know, as a matter of fact, just the other day, one of my favorite questions arose from an audience member: “what do we do when they say yes?”

Referring to a client or customer who comes on board. Such a great question, what happens when they say yes. I even posted it on my wall. I mean it’s truly one of my favorite all time questions, because that’s a reality.  That’s a very real question. Where else are you going to ask that question, right, and get an answer?

Carol: It is for sure. I remember years ago when I was first starting out and I had some of my very first “yeses.” Didn’t matter if it was in the health industry or communications, positioning… my mind went into a ton of “what ifs, how tos” and my gut followed. Lol, but you know, it all worked out and with each yes and no actually, I learned and I’m/we’re all still learning. I see what you mean though. It is a very real question for any of us in business.

Steve: Yes. Where else are you going to be able to ask a question to people that have been there and done that and get an answer in real time?

Carol: so many reasons that more need to be aware of this and attend. It’s so great that you 3 are doing this and that there is truly a community feel.

Carol: what happens when someone signs up to attend?

Carol: Steve, you are also known as the Second Act Success Coach. Can you speak on that just a bit here before we continue with the Round Table?

Steve: I’m very passionate about Second Act Success because I had to figure it out and it saved my life. I want to do the same for others, especially people of our generation. I love to talk about baby boomers because there are so many of us and we are all facing many of the same things. It is getting tougher, everything’s getting tougher. We are fortunate though to live in this time where a worldwide audience can be reached.

I mean to be able to have conversations with and help people across the States to New Zealand, Australia… you know they have different ways of life and different cultures and different governments, but many of us are all experiencing the same things in all aspects of life, economically, socially, in our families… We’re all that age where a lot of us are taking care of our parents and taking care of our kids, all that can be in our particular generation. To be able to connect with people all around the world is amazing as we’re all helping each other out with a common thing; after a common goal, all looking for the same answers in the same solutions to the same challenges. It’s amazing to me, it really is. The Round Table is one of the ways to assist with what may be one’s Second Act Success.

Steve, what would you like your legacy to be?

Steve: that’s a wonderful question especially considering I created a product called the Legacy Way. It actually hits home right now because so many people I know are having health challenges. You know, I don’t know that I’ve given that a lot of thought. I’m just grateful and humbled right now to see that I’m actually affecting people in a positive way.

My wife, Sherry, tells me that I was never shown this much appreciation in the decades of my life in the corporate world.  I literally now get testimonials every single week. They come out of left field. For example, someone contacted me to tell me they saw such and such video of mine and it changed their life. It might be something that I hardly remember even doing, you know, and then it’s humbling to me to think that for some reason I woke up one day and felt the need to do a video that  impacted somebody’s life. That’s when the magnitude of it really sinks in because I, I never intended it to be that way. I never even believed I’d be capable of that. I didn’t know it was in me, you know. And so, it is humbling and awesome at the same time, to experience it.
