Michael: We offer a comprehensive hands on two day training session where they receive the technical knowledge then need to be able to offer our services. Most of our owners will do the repair installations themselves however when it comes to new window installations, they will
subcontract that service to an installation company.
MJ: So if I am living in small town America, what kind of population or geographical potential do I need to be considered for a licensing opportunity? Do I need a population of 20,000 people in a small town? Is that enough to sustain a business or from your experiences, what size of
population do I need to serve?
Michael: I would say anywhere from 100 to 250 thousand would be a good population base. We have a software that allows us to analyse the past twelve months of any given market to see what the interest level is based on search trends on the internet to determine how many leads we could generate for this potential. We do this analysis with every new dealer that comes on board and from the information, what I am seeing is roughly 100 to 250 thousand population base is required. With this kind of population base, they can generate 30 to 50 leads per month that is
a recipe based on their closing ratios.
MJ: So going forward, what are the expansion plans for Window Medics in the United States?
Michael: Window Medics currently has a deployment plan of opening around 500 locations in the next two to three years. We are targeting re-modelers and window cleaners, people who are exposed to the window industry so as we are speaking to them about foggy windows they will see the opportunities on a regular basis. That does not say that a franchise owner or a business person who is interested in getting into a business is also a good candidate as well. Currently right now we are receiving 30 to 40 inquiries per month of people who are interested in signing up. We are carefully evaluating if they have the requirements to be able to join our
company.
