I believe that it is essential to specifically confirm to a client the car make, model and colour in advance. In fact, if the client has any doubts they can contact me personally prior to rental and I will send images of the car and even copies of the car papers. The assumption is often that any fully comprehensive car insurance is sufficient but that is not the case. If the car is covered by a standard policy that does not specifically allow for commercial vehicle rental, there is a strong chance that the insurers will not pay out.
In order to ensure that clients are fully covered it is imperative to use only a fleet insurance policy, that is specifically designed for luxury car rentals.
