Sara Ruda is a motivational coach/speaker who is an expert in the outdoors and nature. She focuses on helping women and people of all ages to gain self-confidence. In this interview, Sara Ruda shares her inspiring journey, success secrets and key actions that you can learn from.
Izdihar: How did you start your Entrepreneurship journey?
Sara: I have always had a love for the outdoors and helping people. I was able to find a way to recover from an abusive relationship by getting back to what I love which is being outside and enjoying everything that it has to offer. I want to give that opportunity to others as well.
Izdihar: Who inspired you to start your business?
Sara: My family did. I grew up in the outdoors and it was always where I had the most fun and also where I would go to relax and get away from the chaos. They taught me everything I know about the outdoors and I want to inspire others to have a passion for it like I do.
Izdihar: What type of services or products do you offer?
Sara: I am an author, a motivational speaker and I also have a Facebook site dedicated to teaching everyone interested in the benefits of being outdoors and opportunities in conservation of wildlife and their habitat.
Izdihar: What is the best part of being an entrepreneur?
Sara: Getting to inspire others and getting more people and especially women and our youth more interested in the outdoors
Izdihar: What is the most challenging part about being an entrepreneur?
Sara; Me and technology!! Seriously!! I am an outdoors person and the hardest part for me has been integrating everything into the tech world and not being able to do everything face to face. I am blessed with it though otherwise I would not have the chance to reach out to the amazing people I do.
Izdihar: What are your biggest lessons about being an entrepreneur?
Sara: You always need to be ready to adapt to whatever is happening around you which is the same concept when you are outdoors.
Izdihar: How are you different from other Entrepreneurs in the same industry?
Sara: There are not a lot of others like me, I try to encourage everyone, but especially women and youth to find their self-confidence through connecting with the outdoors. This includes everything from camping to archery, hiking and even hunting and fishing.
Izdihar: What are your top 3 advice to other Entrepreneurs/your niche?
Sara:
1.Try something you have never done before, expand your horizons and you will find that your interests will grown indefinetely.
2.Do not back away from your fears. We cannot grow if we are not challenged, if it scares you it should motivate you to give it a shot!!
3. Use a chance to get outdoors to completely unplug from technology, enjoy your surroundings. Refocus, Regroup, refresh. You will always come back ready to conquer anything.
Izdihar: What’s your secret to balancing your family, business and ME time?
Sara: Prioritizing what needs to be done overall that week, then breaking it down into a daily schedule.
Izdihar: What’s 1 key action that anybody can take today to move closer to their goals?
Sara: Keep your promises to yourself no matter how small they are. This will boost your self-confidence and prepare you for more difficult tasks in the future.
Izdihar: Do you have any free gifts to offer?
Sara: I have access to my facebook site, pdf files of different outdoor activities and I will have videos uploaded on my site where we will have questions and answers on different topics.
Izdihar: How can people get in touch with you?

Izdihar: What do your clients say are the best thing about working with you?
Sara: I can tend to be spontaneous, I’m not a strict timeline vacation person. If we go on a trip and I see something random on the side of the road I will stop and look at it. I can make friends anywhere and with anyone. The joke is that “I’ve never met a stranger”
