Local Business Mavericks is a compilation of one-on-one conversations with some of the top entrepreneurs in their industry designed to share their strategies to overcome the toughest obstacles standing in the way of their customers’ success.
Marron’s insight into moving past an emotionally dysfunctional upbringing and becoming a better spouse and father is based on his personal experience and is right on target.
He states, “Men need to learn that they are the problem – and they aren’t at the same time. They have to learn to accept themselves the way that they are and accept their past for what it was so that they can move on to the present and be the father they want to be. They have to make changes in their lives. Once they understand emotional intelligence and how to communicate with their kids in a healthy way that will encourage a positive relationship, real healing can begin. Their relationship with their children and their wives will strengthen, and they will find that bond of love returning again.”
Marron has made headlines quite a bit recently, most notably for helping men heal from their emotionally broken upbringing and learn ways to communicate with their family in a more deep, loving, and meaningful way.
It’s most likely for this reason that many people nationally consider him the most real & relevant mentor for men (who want to be better fathers) who’s in tune with the marketplace today.
Joe Marron, after leaving active duty from the Marine Corps and going into the reserves, assisted in the management of his family’s veterinary business and avocado grove. He spent a large amount of his time caring for his children and coaching basketball at the middle and high school levels. Joe also spent 5 years in the financial planning industry. Through self-discovery, he realized that the financial planning path would not allow him to be the best person he could be. He has now chosen to help other men understand themselves and be at peace with what they find in order to form stronger and more fulfilling relationships.
