Karyn: Thank you Carol.
Many women enroll in The Healers Touch Method (Advanced Certification Program) because they want all of the information, including a library of live webinars with me, for the mending of their own broken hearts. Soon, they begin to discover they have an aptitude for empathy, compassion, kindness, nurturing, ministering and teaching! So, the threefold mission is like a flower blossoming in the heart of each and every person who is touched by the Healer’s touch.
Carol: What are some common misconceptions when it comes to becoming a Joy Coach of America?
Karyn: Sometimes a woman will say, “Should I wait ‘til I am more joyful to become a Joy Coach?” My answer is simply stated: “The more I tell myself that I am a Joy Coach, the more I feel myself evolving into a more joyful, peaceful, loving person! If you want to be enthusiastic, you gotta act enthusiastic! If you want to be more joyful, then begin believing and behaving like you already are!” It works!
Carol: What are some questions anyone wanting to experience a session might ask?
Karyn: How committed am I to living joyfully? Am I willing to make peace with my past? Am I willing to count the blessings in disguise for situations that I wish would have gone differently? Am I willing to step out of my comfort zone where sorrow is a familiar emotion and risk exploring the possibility that I can obtain and claim joy in my lifetime? What price am I willing to pay to become the best version of me?
Carol: Karyn, do you do long distance Joy Coaching sessions for those who can’t meet with you in person?
Karyn: Yes, via live webinar! 10 sessions is advantageous; 1 session every 10 days or week. We also have Joy Coaches arising around the nation. Our goal is to have Joy Coaches across America (and beyond) so that people all over the nation can “Experience the Gift” in person as well!
Carol: Karyn, what is the legacy you’d like to leave the world?
Karyn: I wish to leave a legacy of love for others who have experienced heartbreak and heartache in their lives; to know and believe that love, joy and peace is possible! One must conceive it in their own mind, believe it in their own heart and then set forth to ACHIEVE it as a joyful manifestation which is the reward for creating what one believes is possible and then enduring and enjoying to that end!
Carol: Is there anything I haven’t asked you about your work or any aspect of Joy Coaching America that you’d like to share?
Karyn: In closing, I believe that in the heart of every human being, there is an ability to give and receive ministering and nurturing. We may not have experienced a sense of nurturing in our childhood, teenage years or beyond. If I could have my wish, everyone would be blessed to discover that the hardest heart is truly a tender heart hiding behind painful prison walls of self-protection.
The key is to find a safe place where your broken heart can become vulnerable again in a safe place. As I ministered to men and women at the prison, I discovered that hardened “criminal” countenances became soft and childlike, as they listened to this Christ-Centered Music and felt true remorse for the wounds they had caused, empathy for the hearts they had broken and the forgiveness they longed to feel for themselves and others involved.
Through this mission and ministry, I would like to see all broken hearts across America being made whole. It may sound idealistic, but it is what I am giving my heart to accomplish!
Carol: Thank you so much Karyn.
