Tell us about your journey! What led you to this point?
I’ve always known in the universe that I always meant to help people. Somehow, I’ve just always known that it feels like that I was born to do great things that came to me.
But as a young adult I struggled after a bad injury from my job so I struggled with disability and mental health caused by my time of my injury.
Then, later. I was diagnosed with diabetes, high cholesterol and addiction and three times I died but was always told it wasn’t my time yet so go back.
I always wondered why I got refused entry into heaven as if it was going into a nightclub without ID.
I struggled for years because I had carers looking after me once a day, whilst my wife looked after me until she was diagnosed with womb cancer and three years she lived with it as it progressed and then she died.
But I dealt with her death and tried so hard but I started to give up so I overdosed on pain medication but I survived again being told the same thing when I went to the gate of heaven.
So I came back to life and realised I needed to do something with my life so I met a Holistic Health & NLP Practitioner Breakthrough Coach.
We discussed my health issues and disability and mental health so then she suggested changing my diet by eating healthily to reduce or reverse diabetes and high cholesterol.
I then began to start shifting my weight so as I felt a bit healthier this lovely lady suggested strengthening my legs by doing some movements on my bed by starting with my toes to try to move them and it started I was gaining my feelings back in my legs as I had none.
Then I started pulling my feet backwards and forwards, that was helping me.
Then I gained more strength by leaping on to my powered wheelchair to go to the toilet etc everyday.
Then I started by using my manual wheelchair and then I gained more feeling back and eventually I started using my crutches by hopping around my apartment then I managed to go outside to the garden then to local shop and got further out then in to town after 5 months I started walking without crutches and altogether it took me 6 months to walk again.
Whilst doing all that with learning to walk I lost weight from over 18 stone to about 12 stone and I reversed diabetes, high cholesterol and overcame smoking and the addiction of those pain medications.
Then she helped me overcome PTSD by her techniques through NLP and I was extremely impressed and it inspired me to learn NLP Course myself and I graduated on 3rd October 2021 as a NLP Practitioner then in March 2022 I completed a course in mental health first aider at work, and I did all that in one year.
And this Coach that helped me we gained a beautiful relationship and I asked her to marry me on 23rd August 2021.
Also back in February 2022 I started a new job as a peer support coordinator by helping people that come in to us with a mental health crises and I help them feel better and not feeling suicidal anymore.
On 11th July 2022 I qualified as NLP Practitioner Hypnotherapist.
Now I own my own business at the mental health warriors by helping people that are going through similar issues like I did to help them overcome their issues.
I want to add that if I didn’t meet my fiance last year I wouldn’t be where I am now so all this I’m truly grateful to her.
And we are about to work hard together as a power couple to help as many as possible cause if Maggie can help me recover from all this then anyone can.
