DS: My name is Danny Shannon. I am a sales executive specializing in strategic growth. I have more than 30 years of global experience visualizing, developing, selling, managing and leading, which allows me to provide knowledge, understanding and success to help motivate people to succeed. My experience has also allowed me to develop software, methodology, materials and author a book. Implementing these in your company will achieve explosive growth in sales.

BI: What would you say is the area in business that you are most passionate about and why?

DS: People. They have the power to build anything. There is no better feeling than motivating individuals and making them feel a part of the company and its growth. I also love innovations and services that deliver value. It is exciting to work with companies old and new. It’s always fulfilling to pump life back into established companies to help motivate their people to drive sales to new heights. To do this, I have always facilitated team discussions to uncover individual’s personalities, skills, and passions to allow for positive discussion. It’s a joy to see group members feel a part of a team and make the company and its products and services better.

BI: How are you different than your competitors?

DS: I don’t believe in “one-size fits all solutions,” nor do I believe in a consulting engagement. I believe in a partnership to rapidly grow the sales of a company. I understand all the moving parts that make companies unique, whether it be people, processes, customers or traditions. Being a part of the company’s team allows us to incorporate all the parts into an explosive results driven culture.

BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?

DS: Becoming a published author has to be top of the list. In my first book, “SELLING not art or science but DISCIPLINE,” (available on Amazon.com) I capture my more than three decades of experience to show how important people are to your personal success. The book gives back to the sales community to help the next generation of sales professionals. Aside from the book, I am very proud of my software. A big part of my career has been about software, so to have my own world class product is a great accomplishment. The software allows companies to grow their sales at a rapid rate, and our goal now is for additional funding to take it global.

BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?

DS: Service. I have always admired the servant leader. Their passion for people, ability to empower them to accomplish extraordinary things is incredibly admirable. The servant leader doesn’t look to create followers but instead, create valuable leaders. They nurture, trust, acknowledge, motivate and grow people’s commitment to serving a higher purpose than themselves. They also give back to the community. I believe these traits helps companies grow and flourish. They create desirable workplaces and wonderful cultures where people want to be successful.

BI: What has been a key element of your success?

DS: I asked an executive coach this same question. We went through a series of tests, which showed I am a force of nature. The results also described me as strong, dynamic and intense. More so, the test revealed my top five attributes to be a competitor, strategic, achiever, significance, and learner. The key element to my success has been using these attributes and talents every day to continue to help others succeed.

BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?

DS: Right now, I’ve been working on study curriculum to add to my book. This will help people more easily learn my ten step process to perfect their sales techniques. Another exciting project has to do with our software, which allows companies to explode their sales growth. We are working to secure additional funds to take the software to global markets.

BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?

DS: If you are a company’s decision maker that is serious about rapidly growing your business, you should personally contact me. We will discuss how I will personally work with you to find and implement a solution and measure success.

BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?

DS: This is an exciting time. All the new companies we are reaching, the traction we are gaining with investors to move into global markets and the difference we are making in people’s lives. I am also excited to speak with your readers and help them, and their companies succeed.
