“If You’re Stuck In Your Business, If You Don’t Know How To Grow, Create A Program”

Fast Growth Business and Technology Strategist Alina Vincent shows entrepreneurs how to leverage their expertise and grow their business using online program creation in a 3-day live event September 8-10 in Reno, Nevada.

I sat down with Alina to find out more about online program creation.

Zaza Giroday: Alina, tell me more about this event, what is it about?

Alina Vincent: It’s a 3-day live event that will show entrepreneurs how to create an online program so that they can boost their business growth. They will learn how to leverage their time and efforts better, serve more people, have a bigger impact while working fewer hours. It is for business owners who have never created an online program before as well as for those who want to take their program to the next level.

Zaza Giroday: So what are they going to learn during 3 days?

Alina Vincent: I’m going to spend three days teaching people the exact step by step process I took to create my first program, to create my second program, to create my tenth program. This is how I grew my business from $0 to $250,000 in just 2 years.

We get to build your program regardless of whether you have one or many ideas, or you know that you need a program but you don’t know where to get started.

During three days we will be going through everything you need to know to come up with a hot idea, and create, design and promote your program. You are going to walk out with a program in your bag. You can actually start selling your program before you even leave the event.

There will also be a lot of opportunities to brainstorm with other people and get instant market feedback.

Zaza Giroday : Why is recognizing your expertise key in online program creation?

Alina Vincent: Expertise is something that other people want and that they will pay for. You must first understand that.

That is why we will spend quite a bit of time helping you discovering and uncovering and owning your expertise.

Then the rest of it will fall into place, how you create a blueprint, how you actually put it into action, how you sell your program before you even create it, how you leave with a great program that you can get up and running in two weeks.

Your expertise is not just about your knowledge, it very often is about your experience or the way your life lessons turned out or the way just everything in your life is put together.

Once you open your eyes and see what that unique expertise you have is, that’s what you go with.

Zaza Giroday: Typically, what are the myths around online program creation that could keep people from starting this process?

Alina Vincent: There are three main reasons people do not create their online program. The first one is that they think it’s too complicated, they don’t know where to get started, they think it takes much more time, effort and resources than it actually does.

The second reason is that they think they are not good enough yet to teach this or that. They often falsely believe that they first need to get another certificate.

The third reason is that they compare themselves to others who already have a program on that topic so they decide not to go ahead.

If everybody stopped there, there would be no online programs at all! And yet people are looking more and more for information online.

Zaza Giroday: Yes, it is a thriving market and it’s global. Why do you think online programs are so popular?

Alina Vincent: It’s very addictive in a good way on both ends. If you are a consumer you can learn anything and at any time. It becomes really empowering.

On the other hand, once you create your first program, you become unstoppable. It is so much more enjoyable and rewarding because instead of just serving one-on-one, your program can now help thousands for years to come.

Zaza Giroday: So tell me more about the benefits entrepreneurs get when they go ahead with creating their program.

Alina Vincent: As I said earlier, creating an online program gives you impact because you can serve a lot more people when you leverage your time. But it also gives you extra streams of passive income. You have a packaged information product on your website that people can access anytime.

Now when I travel I still have money coming into my bank account because people are watching my webinars or they are logging into my website or somebody is telling them about me. They can buy the program, they can get access to it immediately. They don’t even have to ever talk to me. They get what that they need, and I get money coming into my account.

Another benefit is that if you are thinking of speaking on big stages, if you want people to promote and email about you, unless you have that program, you’re can’t access this opportunity. If you talk to someone and they ask you if you have a program they can promote and you say no then it often ends the conversation.

Zaza Giroday: Are there any pitfalls that your clients are not aware of and that they should avoid when creating a program?

Alina Vincent: An important one and almost everybody is doing it, is trying to get everything you know into one program. That’s probably the worst thing you can do for yourself and for your potential customers who get overwhelmed and that’s not a positive result. That’s definitely something to avoid. You want to identify only one very specific problem and solve it completely.
