SH: Hello my name is Sherri Henley, having been raised in a Pastor’s home, I quickly became equipped with tools to harness the power of an audience at a very young age. From singing to speaking, leading to the following; I adopted an acumen applicable to business…found first through ministry. Now, as speaker, author, and trainer…I often find myself composing and implementing ideas based on the value system of integrity which I was exposed to as a child.
As years have progressed into the digital revolution, I have learned to apply digital tools to establish collaborative business relationships, create social influence and monetize platforms that are built for more than one! In my quest to “Weave My OWN Web”, I have encountered more connections, collaboration, exposure, and business.

BI: What would you say is the area in business that you are most passionate about and why?
SH: I am passionate about creating an atmosphere of collaborative thought-leadership that delivers actionable, sustainable business models through creative digital strategy, defined by social media intelligence.
BI: How are you different than your competitors?
SH: I view those in the same “camp” as an extension of my intellect versus a threat to my business. For me, collaborating with someone who is an expert in my field is informative, challenging and collaborative because together WE are stronger!
BI: Please tell me about any recent business accomplishments that you are most proud of and why?
SH: My latest book, Come Into Your OWN; A 31 Day Experience, is a direct result of my passion for personal and professional development. The premise of the book has afforded me the pleasure of working with individuals to OWN their business and story.
BI: What Leadership qualities in Leaders do you most admire and why?
SH: A true leader is first a follower. Learning to follow the leader is what points a person to the elevated platform of empowerment, from within to without.
BI: What has been a key element of your success?
SH: The people who hold shared values of collaboration; equally enlarging our territory while expanding our circle of influence.
BI: What are some of the business projects that you are currently working on that you are excited about and why?
SH: From corporations to organizations, universities, churches, entrepreneurs and professionals, I get excited about working with people to develop their digital platforms. A four step process gives me the knowledge to equip for implementation: Discovery. Development. Coaching Training. Once done…the sky is the limit for the end-user!
BI: What are 1 or 2 things you would like to say to a prospective client who stumbles across this interview?
SH: Embrace competition as a possibility of added-value to your team. Your expertise may be creating content…while their advantage may be analytics. Together…you could deliver a more robust package to a potential client!
Keep your mind opened to change as a challenge.
BI: To wrap this up, what are you most excited about in the upcoming months in your business?
SH: Continuing to evolve into a better person on all levels of life. To keep learning, stretching, reaching, dreaming, planning, and most of all, acting. Action is the operative word. Without action…there is no business…there are no clients. With action…this is a business…there are clients. It is as simple as that!
Life is a business…regardless of my stance and location….I will make it count! I believe “You only live once” is one of the greatest sayings, because of the truth behind the statement! #yolo
